Undergraduate Minor in Statistics
Additionally, the department offers an undergraduate minor in statistics. The undergraduate minor in statistics requires 25 hours of study. The required courses are:
- STAT 4013 Statistical Methods I
- STAT 4023 Statistical Methods II
- STAT 4043 Regression
- STAT 4093 SAS and R Programming
- STAT 4203 Mathematical Statistics I
and
- MATH 2144: Calculus I
- MATH 2153: Calculus II
- MATH 2163: Calculus III.
These courses must be completed with at least a 2.5 GPA and no grade below a "C". If any of these courses should be required for the student's major, computer science courses (up to two) may be added as requirements.
