Undergraduate Minor in Statistics

 

Additionally, the department offers an undergraduate minor in statistics.  The undergraduate minor in statistics requires 23 hours of study. The required courses are:

  • STAT 4013 Statistical Methods I
  • STAT 4023 Statistical Methods II
  • STAT 4043 Regression
  • STAT 4091 SAS Programming
  • STAT 4203 Mathematical Statistics I

and

  • MATH 2144: Calculus I
  • MATH 2153: Calculus II
  • MATH 2163: Calculus III.

These courses must be completed with at least a 2.5 GPA and no grade below a "C". If any of these courses should be required for the student's major, computer science courses (up to two) may be added as requirements.
